Re: Weather Tech or Husky Liner

Same here. Have the Husky xacts up front & back with Mopar cargo liner. Love them, I have weather techs in my chevy truck they fit nice but get little slippery with wet boots getting in so tried these. Very satisfied.

Re: Weather Tech or Husky Liner

Maybe a silly question, but do you guys keep the these aftermarket mats in all year round or just the winter? I do, just wondering what the consensus is

Keep mine all year round for protection. I live in OK and weather seems to always be changing here.

Re: Weather Tech or Husky Liner

All year around since at least once a week I am off road and herding sheep.

Carpet mats are for WK2 SRT8s that only crawl at malls and never see dirt or mud.

I know weather tech makes a mat for the cargo area, I might have to get the x-act's for the front and back seat area and the WT for the cargo.

Apologies if this was already covered.

Thanks for any responses or insight.
That's the mat setup I'm currently running...... Rubberized X-Act Fit Huskys in the front and second row, WeatherTech in the cargo area. Check out this thread for more insight on the differences between the two Husky Liners & why not you might want to not get the WeatherTechs for the fronts (They allow water to seep into your carpets thru the hook holes!);

Re: Weather Tech or Husky Liner

Bumping an old thread here, but can anyone elaborate on the dead pedal coverage of the Husky X-act Contours vs. the WeatherBeaters?

I've narrowed it down to those two and i'm leaning X-act Contours due to the rubbery material, but I always rest my left foot on the dead pedal and from pictures, it appears the WeatherBeaters have better coverage there.

I have the Husky WeatherBeaters front and rear. They have full dead pedal coverage. After this last winter I can say that I'm very pleased with the way they've held up.

I also leave them in year round.

Re: Weather Tech or Husky Liner

I've been VERY impressed with the Husky X-Act's, great coverage, the feel is awesome (I like the rubber), and they are heavy-duty. I'll leave them in all year.

Re: Weather Tech or Husky Liner

Either of them work well. I have a Weathertech in the WK2 and a Husky in the WJ. Nothing slides around in the in the back of the WK2 now and the main reason I have them.

Re: Weather Tech or Husky Liner

Husky X-Act Contour slush mats are "winter only" at my house. We do not have slush in the summer.
