I've got weathertechs in our '11 GC and '12 Suburban. They're superb. Had them in my '99 GC and '01 Burban and they held up quite nicely with 200k on the clock for each vehicle. LOL.
I have weathertechs in my 14 overland. Fronts, Backs, and Truck. I love them and they fit perfect. I have black ones for black interior. No complaints.
Rugged Ridge and Quadratec also sell tan slush mats, The Rugged ridge labeled ones seem to sell for $20.00 more than the Quadratec labelled ones but they look identical.
I used WeatherTechs in my Enclave for six years and was very happy with them. The only complaints I had were that they were kind of slippery, and the coverage didn't go up on the dead pedal far enough. When I ordered my JGC I checked into them and found that the floor hook areas had a hole the whole way through the mat. I ended up ordering Husky Weatherbeaters. The fit is exceptional, they are not slippery, there are no holes going through, (this is important because of the extremely snowy winters we get in the "lake effect" areas), and the coverage is better than the WTs. I have both front and rear, and cargo, and really like them a lot. Glad I didn't get the WTs again. The coverage is especially good on the dead pedal, which is carpeted in my Overland. That was not the case in my Buick. Not to mention they're less expensive.
I don't think the oem mats are available in tan. I like the light tan interior too. The weather tech look good I it and the front ones hook I to the carpet tabs.
I've got the black MOPAR slush matts in my '14 light frosted beige interoir overland. I hate how the '14s in this colour don't have black carpets like some of the limiteds I have seen. I kind of like the look of the black mats on the beige interior, but haven't seen the WT in tan.
Did you go with black or tan on the WTs? How have they held up? Do you still have the vehicle, and can you share a pic of how they look today?
If anyone needs a set of WeatherTech or Husky mats, I encourage you to PM or email us directly for a quote. Make sure you mention Jeep Garage for a special discount!
Both are good quality, the weathertech's are a slicker harder plastic material while the Husky's are more of a soft rubber. Personally I like the softer rubber since it gives a little more traction.
I have the weathertech, infact I have two sets. I love them the only thing I do not like is the black fades fast and looks like crap I think in my jeep. It is a grey black. I wash them every week but I think they take away from the beauty of my truck. I only have them in the front . I would love the rich black I receive them as so looking for a product that keeps its nice and black and does not make my interior less
Acknowledging original post was old, I did not see one other option mentioned. Was seeking a dark brown cargo liner for both function and color contrast in 2017 Overland with brown/light frost interior. Got the 'northridge' liner from Lloyd Mats (autoanything.com). Hard rubber; durable. Fit is perfect, although if needed for your application, it does not go up the sides at all (but is flush corner to corner and side to side.
