Re: What Accessories are a must IYO

If you have a HEMI, a heavy foot is a definite must have! Not my opinion...FACT!

Try adding weights to your ankle.

Heh all jokes aside. I like the tubular side steps (which you can order from justforjeeps.com and get a discount by using the jeepgarage member discount code).

Anything from mopar is generally awesome looking.

If you have pets and fear for your leather like I do, I put the dog in the trunk and covered the back with a big fluffy carpet and put some pillow on the sides so the dog doesn't scratch the sides of my trunk or get to the subwoofer.

Ummm sounds silly but I have a swiss army knife in the glove cause you never know when you're going to need it.

Tinted windows (unfortunately illegal in kuwait so I can't get them, need to figure out the exact laws and tint limits here since every source online is saying a different thing).

If you go offroading a winch and CB radio will be quite helpful! I would say not a "MUST" if you're into light offroading but if you're into heavy offroading then a winch and CB radio will eventually save you and your jeeps life. Also a high grade tow strap approved by some sort of governing body. In Kuwait it's the Department of traffic that actually have a list of "approved tow straps" for offroad use. They also have recommended tow straps for different weight classes/environments which I found super helpful.

Ummm let's see what else...

I'd say seat covers and floor mats, since the leather is quite high grade you want to protect it as much as you can if you go offroad. Don't want to get it dirty. I have the frost beige and this is my main concern right now. It gets dirty wayyyy too easily and I fear at some point I may get it way too dirty that I may not be able to get it to look new again.

Fire extinguisher, roll cage if you're really a hard core offroader.

Hmm I'm trying to think of street mods but apart from exhaust and diablo predator I can't think of much. I still haven't modded my Hemi, hopefully in the near future.

Re: What Accessories are a must IYO

I just got the Weathertech mats for my Summit. I have used them in most of my trucks and been very happy. They look really good and are second to none for protection. I put the Jeep mat in the cargo area a few weeks ago. It looks pretty cool.

Chrome tow hooks. I plan on getting mine when they're available from Mopar.

If you do a search for Clear Bra you will find a lot of information on it. I received a price quote of around $650 to have it applied to mine. Figured I would just take my chances as I have never done it to any of my other cars.

Re: What Accessories are a must IYO

I got the canvasback trunk liner. Easily cleaned and covers the back seats when they are down without me having to do anything to the linear.
