About the same as the factory 55w halogen, which is not great to begin with, but for me it was more about how they looked with the headlights. I just didn't like the yellowish color of the halogens with the bright white of the leds/hid headlights.

Re: What are the factory 2014 FOG light bulbs?

Just back on this post after retiring the ol 08 CRD and traded in for '14 GC Larado...having a laugh reading through the bantering on this post whether or not fogs should be yellow or white. I don't know the answer but in my opinion I agree its really what the driver prefers. I am siding on the side of the yellow color on the bases that reflection of white fog or snow may be less intrusive with this different color source. I'm in same boat in that factories are a bit lower temp color and plan to change out halogens to a pure yellow or higher intensity white.

I'm done with trying to get multi LED's bulbs to work in optics designed for a single incandescent (Filament) source. It seems every time I try the color might be preferrable but really are you getting the optimum light output from the reflector assmembly. The fogs in the 2014 seemed better focused from what they were in prior years on both my previous GC's, probably because of the high wattage and projector focusing. Understandably some owners may want the colors to match with headlights but from my point, fog and blowing snow play havoc on your vison directly ahead and that is what I want to address moreso than appearance from front.

Just my 2 cents. When I change them out I'll post my findings, favourable or not.
