Re: What did you do to your WK2?

Satisfied with the stock hemi so far. I have a '97 TJ that is locked, lifted and supercharged.

So far mods to the Trailhawk are:
20% tint on front windows and windshield brow, tinted tails, vinyl wrapped window chrome delete, LED "Jeep" courtesy/puddle lights inside front doors, Billet Technology full engine dress kit and catch can, stubby CB antenna with Midland CB in center console, Escort 9500xi radar detector in blend mount with mirror power tap, smittybilt beaver step in hitch receiver, Gobi roof rack with four 6" LED light bars front and two 6" LED light bars rear axe/shovel mount and rotopax mounted fuel and water, MGP caliper covers red with Jeep lettering.

This weekend the BlackVue 5500 2channel (front and rear) dashcam gets wired/installed.

On the to do list: bushwacker flares, Nitto tires once I wear enough tread off currents to justify, exhaust ??, pre runner and winch, the list goes on.

Nice. Do you get a lot of oil in your catch can? It's on my list

Re: What did you do to your WK2?

It varies depending on humidity/weather and driving habits. My wife's Laredo catches less than mine, but the Ram 1500 catches more. They all catch enough to make them a worthwhile investment they aren't just for show.

Re: What did you do to your WK2?

That's what I figured for for any engine.. I hate to be a cheap skate but I find myself holding on for their "one a year sale" to make my wallet feel better lol

Re: What did you do to your WK2?

Yep that's when I ordered the can for the Ram and engine dress kits for the Ram and the Trailhawk. I filled my online cart the night before and then logged in and placed the order one minute into the yearly sale for max discounts. It saved me over 200 bucks.

Re: What did you do to your WK2?

That's a good idea.. Do you remember when the sale is roughly? Also I have been really thinking about taking off my side molding and going with the letters. Anyone have experience with no trim and dings? I'm sure now a days there are so many doors out there that your at risk no matter what..ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1397188137.868440.jpg

Re: What did you do to your WK2?

Last year's sale was Nov 15th started at 12 noon eastern time with 40% off for first hour then 30% and so on.

I prefer the individual letters over the chrome strip too.

Re: What did you do to your WK2?

Nice.. I am stuck now.. I plasti dipped the front and rear emblems and they still look great... If I get the side lettering in gloss black I have to get new ones front and back in gloss.. If I get chrome letters I can plasti dip to match and pull it off later if I trade in the car at some point.. Which will be years down the road.. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1397191158.580514.jpg
