What do you guys think about rain guards (wind deflectors / wind visors)?

I am contemplating whether I should purchase rain guards for my jeep. They cost around 60-100 dollars. I don't know if they are worth it.

Well if you want them, then its worth it.

Have found that the wind does push into the GC pretty well, so a slightly open window is out if its raining, the rain shields do work well in those cases.

When you guys talk about Weathertech side window deflectors looking "unfinished" for the rear, what do you mean? I thought they always fit nicely in the channels.

I hate the looks of them, but realize they are functional. I've only had a set on a '95 Dakota.

If you like to leave your windows open a little you should ignore the fact that they are ugly.

Re: What do you guys think about rain guards (wind deflectors / wind visors)?

I had a set on my 07 Patriot and loved them. They made a huge difference on hot Georgia summer days, helping to keep the Jeep a little cooler and letting a little air flow through but keeping most of the pollen and dust out. I am planning on getting them for the WK2 after I get the windows tinted.

Anyone have any pictures? Just bought a '14 and I'm thinking about getting some. I've noticed that they don't look great on all cars.

I always put the window deflectors on all cars. Love them when it rains you can crack the windows for some air without getting wet. I think they look fine on my Summit. Only down side is that they increase the blind spot a little!

Have the window and hood units. They work well.

If you get Weathertech, they slide INTO the channels very nicely.
