Hi everyone. Just picked up my 2015 white Altitude a few weeks ago and have been reading the forums. Was curious- those of you that have the empty compartment under the driver seat, what do you keep in there? I thought about jumper cables but that doesn't make much sense given if my battery was dead the power seat probably wouldn't work to access the compartment.
Also, a number of threads mention the dual compartment in the center console. Looks like my console only has 1 compartment. Maybe something they changed in 2015?
If you have a CD player, your center console does not have the top tray.
If you don't have the CD player, take note that the latch you grab to open the console has two halves. If you grab one, the upper tray is accessible. If you grab the other half, the tray is lifted as if it was part of the lid.
Which model console vault are you using? Mine has been on me or in the console with no vault forever, but my kids are getting big enough where I need to lock up the console gun.
MY11-13 is totally different than MY14-15. There is no CD player in the dash. It's an extra cost accessory that takes up most of the center arm-rest storage area.
Nothing.
My Husky rear floor liner extends up under the driver's seat and it would be too much of a pain to move it every time I wanted to access the storage area.
All the WK2's have them. However if you have any of the advanced electronics packages it's most likely being used to store those modules. Even then there is still a little bit of room in there. Not super convenient to get to though, it's best if you move the seat all the way forward to access.
My battery is under my drivers seat (export Australian version, driver is on the right side) haven't been bothered to look under the passenger side yet, but I'm hoping its big enough to put an air compressor in it for inflating tyres after a beach run cause im sick of my compressor hogging space in the trunk..
Murchison makes a mount to fit your thumper under the bonnet - fits ARB single piston - keeps it out of the boot. Unfortunately it does not fit the U.S. Models, and I know for a fact as I have a bracket sitting here useless.
Holy crap sorry for your troubles but I didn't know there was that much space down there. Does anyone make an enclosure for that piece for safe storage?
As bad as Foster's is, it is way better than most of the US "maidens water" they call beer......Coors, Budweiser, Miller, Michelob etc...and the "Lite" beers are even worse!
Thank the Lord for Sam Adams and the many Microbreweries sprouting up around the USA:thumbsup:!
I believe the Navi system module is in there, too.
I have one module and the Navi system and tow package are the only things I added extra. I can't think of anything that would be there for the tow package, except maybe waring harness or braking stuff.
