What has taken the most visual beating?

Now that the wk2 has been out a few years. What is showing the most wear on your jeep?

Mine is the chrome side Mirrors. Scratches from road debris, etc.

Re: What has taken the most visual beating?

Mine has to be the floormats. Gonna have to splurge and buy some heavy duty ones once the snow and slush comes.

Front bumper and grill. Really wish I would have spent the cash on a clear bra at purchase.

Re: What has taken the most visual beating?

Already have HD floor mats for the snow and mud.

On my 2011, the TIRES have the worst wear and tear.

Otherwise, she still looks new.

Windshield... small nicks and scratch from crude under wiper. Never saw this much damage on any previous vehicle. 27,200 miles mostly around town.

Re: What has taken the most visual beating?

Have to agree - windshield. I got my first star-crack within the 1st 50 miles (fixed by the Glass Doctor folks). This has to be the "softest" glass of any vehicle I have ever owned. I keep hoping some semi shoot a rock into it and cracks it enough that my insurance will replace it. Other than a few pin-sized dings in the chrome grille, it is holding up better than expected. I really thought the area on the rear doors in front of the wheels where the clear vinyl piece is, would really get chipped up. But I believe the OEM splash guards are keeping it to a minimum.

They really use the sand and salt on the winter roads and freeways around here. And the freeways have a lot of cement debris from spalling, holes, etc that gets thrown up into the front and windshield of the GC.

Re: What has taken the most visual beating?

8,450 miles on my 2012 Overland and the vehicle looks and drives 100% new condition. Not a single sign of wear or a defect anywhere on it. Im pretty anal with my cars and it shows :-) Might be selling it as well if anyone wants a chance at a 8,000 mile "new" vehicle.
