Too bad dash mounts can't be used by those with a leather dash.

Re: Where do you put your phone?

Isn't there something called u-connect which you can pretty much see everything. Text messaging, incoming phone calls and navigation, music playlist. Am I missing something?

U-Connect on MY14 and MY15 provides some level of functionality integration for certain things via BlueTooth, but no native display. Your phone navigation, for example, isn't going to appear on the system's screen without some expensive third party accommodations. Both Apple and Google have developed systems to allow for better screen integration, but it's not available on very many vehicles at this point and not on JGC.

Yep, the integration is very sad. For 2016, there will be full Apple CarPlay integration but we're all not worthy of an update. FCA isn't even interested in making it available to us at upgrade price. Ridiculous.

Ollie

Re: Where do you put your phone?

Ollie, you can't assume that the MY16 hardware is the same as the earlier versions...and that could account for the inability or unwillingness of FCA to have a retrofit for the higher level integration. There is even a slight difference in hardware between MY14 and MY15, to my understanding...and different code. (I could be wrong about that)

I have a magnet

It works great

It's very discreet

It's self adhesive, with a tiny metal self adhesive plate wou stick on your phone or on the case

Has no problem holding a iPhone 6S plus on even when pulling 1g in the curves

Will get a pic soon
