I used to use a radar detector when I was younger as well, but I don't anymore. I do agree that it gives you a false sense of security.
I may go a few miles over the speed limit but I try to stay fairly close to the limit. I will say I will push it some when passing cause I prefer to not waste time and get back into my lane. That is what I like about my Charger (good get up an go when you need it)
