Where to Powder coat wheels?!?

I'm thinking about getting new wheels for my new jeep and wanted to know where a good place was to powder coat them to black. Like what kind of shop do I look for? And what would be the cost for powder coating 20" OEM factory chrome wheels to black?

Re: Where to Powder coat wheels?!?

I'm sure other members will chime in but, it depends where you live, where I live (MASS.) I found a shop that charges $75.00 per wheel, not too bad.
As far as a place to buy the wheels, Factory Reproductions is a vendor here.

Re: Where to Powder coat wheels?!?

Why not just buy the wheels already black? They look very good, and you can always find a place later.http://www.ebay.com/itm/20-20x9-Jeep...cee5d6&vxp=mtr

In a metro area the size of Atlanta, you should be able to find a few powder coaters in the yellow pages.

Re: Where to Powder coat wheels?!?

It would help if you posted your state. Here in North Jersey is very expensive. ($150/wheel including mounting and balancing). Last I heard NYC area is about the same, little cheaper at $125/wheel. Other states are a lot cheaper, as cheap as $40/wheel. If you can't find a powdercoat shop, look for a wheel repair shop. They should be able to point you in the right direction.
