Re: White vs Granite Grey

Everyone has their own taste in colors. I've had a couple of white vehicles. Contrary to what people say, they are not easy to keep clean. They show every tiny spec of tar, rail dust, whatever other pollutant you can think of. They also have very little "pop" when clean.

Re: White vs Granite Grey

Personally I like contrast, and since the 2014 Grand Cherokee had a lot of chrome on it, I chose the Granite. The Granite also has a lot of flake in it, and looks awesome in the sun. But if you are thinking about blacking out the chrome, White might be a better choice.

Re: White vs Granite Grey

I had a black 2012 WK2 and now a white 2014, preferred the black by a margin.
Also agree, white is tricky to keep clean, especially the hatch shows all kind of dirt, tar...that stuff you didn't notice on the black, also on large painted areas white doesn't look that great for my taste, might be better suited for smaller vehicles, my next one will be black again but the wife asked for white...

Re: White vs Granite Grey

I was in the exact same situation last week. There was a white summit and grey summit both with brown interiors and same options. The dealer told me he would give me the price I wanted on either one. I told him to surprise me, when I got done with all the paperwork he brought out the white one.

I love it, but I think I would have loved the grey just as much.
