Smile Whiter fog lights

Just an fyi for those who want whiter fog lights. I have the HID headlamps which are pure white but the fogs are the stock ones which have a yellow/white look. I didnt want to go the route of putting in HID fogs so I purchased the "ion spark white" (model 230001SW) replacement bulbs from kbcarstuff (www.kbcarstuff.com) and they snap right in and give a much closer color match to the headlights. The light output is about the sameas stock. They list a brighter one called Night White but it was discontinued. Hope this helps someone looking to do this.

Re: Whiter fog lights

I replaced mine with LED lights on my laredo with PIAA bulbs in my headlights. I want to upgrade my PIAA's to HID's cause I am used to HID's from my other car.

Re: Whiter fog lights

Here are my LED lights. I got them off ebay and had to trim the three nubs but they are so much better.

EDIT: I just remembered there was another tab that has to be cut off too. I am going to do a write-up this weekend and I will take out my led bulb to show what I did.

My1stJGC do you happen to have the link to where u ordered them? Also I have read on another site that u might have to get a resistor to keep them from flickering. Have you had any problems with the LED's or are they just simple plug and play? (besides the tabs)

I have had no problems with mine at all. After I turn off the jeep in the dark you see the LED bulbs are giving off a very dim light but goes out after a couple mins. I think it's just how the LED's are made.

Will these work on my 2012 Overland?? I would like the fogs to match the headlights as much as possible. Also, are the bulbs hard to swap out?

Id love to see a comparison between these lights and the ones from ebay if you can get a picture of them, larryr20. Thanks!
