I had found those mounts the other day, but deleted my post when I realized they would most likely not fit.

Am I mistaken?
While I have a hawse fairlead on mine, I believe a roller fairlead would be completely exposed - it mounts on the outside of the plastic bumper facade.

You are right, I installed myself and any fairlead would be external to the plastic cover

Re: Winch Mount and bumper

Received my RRO winch mount, but still waiting for the Warn VR10000 winch to be delivered. Hope to have it all installed by next month, before the cold weather and snow.

Any updates? I've been checking RRO's website and Facebook page daily, eagerly awaiting for additional details.

I am sworn to secrecy for the moment. I saw the mockups this weekend, and the prototype ones will be done in a couple of weeks. As soon as I can, I will post pictures and details. I thought they were pretty cool.

Teaser pics - this is the new light bar that they designed. There is an updated bumper cover as well... I am planning to pick this up this afternoon, and will send some more details and pics....

Very nice and subtle?
What's the diameter on that tubing?

Re: Winch Mount and bumper

I fail to see the logic in having a winch installed without full bumper and skid plate protection... and why would one want to retain the air-dam? This seems to me to be more for pose value than practicality. There is some logic in that I suppose if one was that way inclined.

The top light bar is 1.5, the front light bar is 1.25 -

There are a whole bunch of pictures with different options - with various lights on the bar RRO was going to send me some soon to post - I haven't decided which configuration I am going with yet....

Regardless, I think they have made something that can fit most every taste....

I agree with you - to a point.... I live in the mountains, and like to do some back country exploring. Notice I didn't say Rock Crawling.... This has enough off-road capability to do some pretty decent trails and wandering. I like having the capability to have the recovery tools when I am way off road, and no cell access. With that being said, if I am going to do something more extreme - I run my Wrangler that is designed to go way off road - and it has clearance, recovery bumper, winch, skid plates, etc.

This is designed to give you some capabilities for winching, etc - but it isn't a full recovery bumper (maybe that is version 3.0....). It will help you get unstuck, or get someone else unstuck.
