Thanks
I am running the XRC10. The comp package just gives you a synthetic winch line and aluminum fairlead. So it should fit with no issues.

However....... I am seriously considering changing from the smittybilt... 3 different aftermarket wireless controls later, I cant get them to work. I can hear the solenoid clicking over, but the motor doesn't engage. Just food for thought if you want wireless controls.

Re: Winch Mount and bumper

Yeah smitty built would not be my first choice. I see some one fit a WARN on this thread. I would prefer WARN.

Re: Winch Mount and bumper

The Warn VR10000 winch reportedly fits, and has a wireless remote option available.

I did this. The RRO winch mount and winch are installed. Just waiting for the release of the new bumper bars. However, I also installed my roller fairlead, which was a tad difficult. There's no room to tighten the bolts behind the roller failead. I ended up removing a couple of the rollers to get my fingers and wrench behind it. When I get the bumper and bar, I'll end up having to remove the roller fairlead, install the bumber bar, then re-install the fairlead. No big deal, just a little more work.

Patiently waiting for the official price and release of the new bumper bars.

Confirmed. Installed the Warn VR10000 winch with wire cable (86255) and the Warn Winch Wireless Control System (76080). All fits and works fine, but is still a close fit to the transmission cooler (less than 1/2" clearance). I think you'll have this close fit with any winch.

I thought about getting the synthetic rope, but Warn states the rope should be replaced once a year. I probably won't use the winch that often and wanted the longer lasting cable.

Total price from Amazon, with shipping was $554 for both items.

Re: Winch Mount and bumper

That is good news I have not order yet and this will save me on shipping up to alaska. Wow I did not know that about the synthetic line. I am guessing that is for heavy use. I would think it will be fine to use for years as long as you take care of it.

I wonder if the synthetic line will last longer hidden in the bumper. Not sure but it seems like it will hold up better being protected....

Bart Man - from what I can see on pictures online, the 9.5ti has a connected solenoid (i.e. can't be removed from the winch body). If it can't be removed, it will be too high to fit inside the bumper.
