My pano-roof and windshield are both done at the same 50%. Same as all my previous vehicles. Never had a cracking or heat issue ever, and the shop I've used for over a decade now has never had an issue with any cars they've done. The rest of the Jeep is done at 5%, yes it's dark, but it's also needed in S Fl.

Re: Window Tint

Hey guys, had my front 2 windows done today and wanted them to match the back. The shop did not have 20% tint. They said it would end up at about 23% and I can tell. Called another shop and they don't have a perfect 20% film either.

So what do you guys get for 20% or to match the back perfectly.

Re: Window Tint

I did the same and got 20%. From inside the front look darker but u cant tell from the outside though. Personally, for me i doesnt bother me so i went with it and left it like that. Your best bet would be to re-do all the back windows so they can all match if it bothers u that much.

Re: Window Tint

Thanks for the help! The front 2 are noticeably lighter than the back. I was hoping they would look the same as the back.

they will look lighter because of the windshield being right there allowing light to enter the front half of the cabin. If you were to tint the windshield say with 50% they would be a perfect match.

I am having mine done tomorrow morning with 15% Lumar for the front and 5% on the windshield strip.
