Wipe New

So last weekend I bought some Wipe New. Yep the one on the commercials.

I just got around to applying it on my roof rails. They were starting too look faded and I didnt like that since I just bought my jeep last Tues.

Looks way better now.

Any of you guys try this stuff? If so how does it hold up over time.

I didnt take before pics or after, but if anyone wants I can post some afters tomorrow...

Re: Wipe New

I used it right after I bought my jeep about 9 months ago. I used it on all the black trim (wheel well arches, roof rail, etc) and it looks brand new still. I see jeeps rolling around all the time with faded trim and it looks horrible IMO. The wipe new has held up very well in hot and wet conditions over the winter and the end of last summer. You just have to be careful not to get it on the paint or chrome trim.

Re: Wipe New

I have not used it yet, but there is a product called Forever Black. It is not a dressing, but a black dye. Supposed to be more permanent. Just something to think about
