WK2 Hood Armor?

Howdy....yet again.

Ok...I know Ive asked some questions in the past that have made the Grand Cherokee crowd cringe cuz they think i'm just trying to wranglorify the Summit.

That's not exactly the case...but I am trying to make it slightly less...uhhhmmm...."city". There, thats a nice way to say it.

Anyhow, I have this on my wrangler:
Rugged Ridge 11651.17 Hood Guard, Body Armor, 07-15 Jeep Wrangler
Rugged Ridge Hood armor.
No...it isnt a "bug deflector" because...just like all the reviews say of all the different manufacturers of bug deflectors....they dont deflect bugs. Look at any windshield and you'll see that those dastardly insects somehow make it through the deflector screens to forfeit their lives in a futile effort to thwart our progress...they must be part of a tiny rebel alliance...

Anyhow...the hodd armor does a fantastic job of protecting the leading edge of my hood from debris. No...I dont tail gate. But I have taken a LOT of solid hits from ONCOMING vehicles.

I figure the sloped leading edge of the JGC would be just as (if not more) susceptibility to similar impact and associated damage.

So....I was wondering...if any of yall know of a similar product for the JGC?

Like the one on my Wrangler, I m looking for form fitting...low profile. Nothing that stick out like Jimmy Durante's nose (google that and you'll understand)....sleek and durable protection.

I am not looking to win a "red-neck of the month" contest.

So...please relax...dont flame me for thinking outside city-limits. Its simply an innocent question. Just breathe.....

THX

V.

3m clear bra or any similar product would suit your needs and be almost invisible. You can buy it precut on ebay or amazin and install yourself very easily.
