Please post a link when they come out with it, thanks.

I haven't bought a rack yet, haven't even decided on one but so far am leaning towards Gobi. I want a rack that minimizes overall height, to fit into the city parking garages and other low clearance places.

Re: WK2 Rack Systems: Manufacturers List

Here's the list, updated with FrontRunner (thanks, macro); removed Saris; and also cleaned up a little.

Are there other rack manufacturers for our WK2s?

Baja Rack: Mule (MegaMule apparently doesn't fit the WK2)

DiamondRax: DiamondRax Roof Rack Systems

Garvin: Garvin Wilderness Racks

Gobi: Gobi Jeep

Inno: Inno Racks

Mopar: Jeep Grand Cherokee Sport Utility Bars (Part No: 82212072AC)

Rhino: (Rhino-Rack Products page)

Rocky Road: WK2 Jeep Grand Cherokee Roof Rack

ROLA: ROLA Roof Racks

Thule: Thule Rack Systems

TracRac: (TracRac's home page: use "Find your fit")

Yakima: Yakima Rack Systems

Re: WK2 Rack Systems: Manufacturers List

Updated the link for Garvin. Their WK2 rack is buried on their site. They're probably losing sales because of that.

Thanks,
Roy

Re: WK2 Rack Systems: Manufacturers List

I'm looking for a roof tray that will mount directly to the factory rails on my 2015 wk2. I see that the gobi and garvin racks have that capability but I don't know if I can shell out that $1k for a roof tray.

I saw that Surco has a product line up and I was interested if it's compatible or if anyone has it on their wk2? Specifically the urban roof rack. The safari one is cool as well, but it looks like the urban one is lower profile.

http://www.amazon.com/Surco-UB4560-B.../dp/B000SLHSQU is the one that'd fit the wk2 I believe. According to http://123stores.com/skin/frontend/e..._Fit_Guide.pdf the 2013 JGC will use the 4560 and it should be about the same for 2014,2015.

This one is built in Australia, comes in 3 styles and increases load rating by a fair bit.

Re: WK2 Rack Systems: Manufacturers List

Do the Mopar cross bars adjust front to back pretty easily? Some of the reviews state that the install is pretty confusing because each bar is specific to either the front or back? I'm picking up a set of bars at my dealer today and am looking at a used Yakima box, but I'm not 100% sure if the distance between bars will work.

Re: WK2 Rack Systems: Manufacturers List

The mopar and Yakima racks mount the same way using the hex bolts that hold the rails down. You actually remove them and replace with studs. Your rack spread is limited to those stud locations.

I use my Yakima whispbar for my canoe. Very sturdy as it essentially bolted to the roof.

Thanks. I bought the Mopar cross bars today and the fit directly into chrome rails. I didn't play with them too much but they seem to be able to be moved front and back pretty readily.

My concern was with a used Yakima box that had a limited range. I went with a new Thule instead and it looks like range is much greater and it is easier to mount.

Hi Birchy, when you say range do you mean its capacity? Or size? Or do you mean something else?

Sorry, what I mean is how close together the two bars can slide. Since one of the bars is specific to the front, this lead me to believe that the roof rails aren't parallel, so there may be limited ability to adjust them front to back.
