Yep already have the rivets and gun...you can get the tool and a bunch of rivets on Amazon for the price of about 2 rivets from the dealer.

Also, this is a long shot, but if you are in the Chicago area I would be willing to do it for you or help you. Just to save you from having to go to a shop and paying someone else to mess with them.
I have OEM plastic rivets here at my house, but I would do the job without removing the bumper.

Got home late today but I'm working from home tomorrow so I'll do a quick write up for removing the bumper then. Completely optional for this install but it does make some things easier.

I am interested in doing this mod to my 2015 Altitude, but I am confused about what to order.

My goal is to have the all turn signals and brake lights be LEDs.

I know the brake lights are bulb number 3157.
The rear turn signals appear to be 7440 and the front turn signals appear to be 7443. Does that mean that I need to order three sets?

And which ones need the CANbus? I assume all three?

Thanks for the great install notes. It was super easy to install them last night. Now looking to do my front turn signals. Just need to figure out if I need the switchbacks or not from vled? I have a 13 Overland.

Glad to hear it went smoothly. As for the fronts I can't help with that, however on other vehicles I have done fronts the amber/amber are the way to go!! They function similar to a switchback, but instead of being white when in normal park lamp mode, they are amber in both modes. VLEDs website does a good job of explaining the function, but what happens is just a steady dim amber is on for the parking lights. Then when a turn signal is put on the dim mode goes off and it blinks full intensity on/off. Then dim amber will burn steady once signaling is done.
Whats cool about this is a non-switchback style LED will go from bright amber to dim amber when signaling is on and IMO that doesn't look as eye catching.

First mod here.. thanks to this thread. Ordered the Triton v3's.
Installation was a breeze thanks to this thread. Only hiccup I had was I could not fit the controller on the tail lamp. So I ended up placing both controllers and resistor behind the bumper, with the double stick tape they provide.

These lights are amazingly bright. Its even brighter in person then it looks on videos. For everyone that used the double stick tape to mount the modules, how have they been holding up? IM worried they won't hold due to the heat that the resistor push.

First post -

Looking for rear LED Brake/Turn Signals. Need some clarification.

2015 Grand Cherokee Overland

Which "BASE ADAPTER" do I specify on the VLED.com site when ordering?

3157/3457
or?
7443/7440

Thank you!
