The very first post says 3457 adapter. Not sure where the confusion is here?

Yeah I was gonna say I'm pretty sure I covered this multiple times in my thread ;-) Just buy the adapter of the bulb size you are replacing. If its a 3157/3457 bulb in the tails of the Wk2, then buy the 3157/3457 V3 bulb adapter.

I know I have had them installed for a while now, but these V3 LEDs still never cease to amazing me. Last night I was walking towards my Jeep and remote started it. The bulbs flashed twice and they are just amazing and very eye catching. When I'm driving behind a WK2 with the original bulbs its actually pretty sad looking compared.

Yup, I just moved and on the street by my house are several, at least a half dozen, signs going back a couple blocks that just light up when I use my brakes in the dark mornings. I watch other drivers behind me and their brakes don't touch the signs lol. It's a very nice upgrade.

The rear turn signals appear to be 7440 and the front turn signals appear to be 7443. Does that mean that I need to order three sets?

And which ones need the CANbus? I assume all three?
If you are in the USA, there are no separate turn signals in the rear.
3157 is your marker/turn/brake in the rear.

I believe European and Australian models have amber rear turn signals which would be the 7440 bulb (single filament).

The front marker/turn bulbs are indeed 7443 (dual filament).

Yes, you should get a CANBUS adapter for both sets.

Thank you, Todd.

When purchased my jeep several months ago I turned to xenondepot for advice on a complete LED swap because they are a forum sponsor and everyone here seems to think highly of them. Their bulb guide indicates that a 7440 bulb is the rear turn signal bulb for the 14/15 Grand Cherokees. When I contacted them for more info, they stated plainly that I would need canbus for the reverse bulbs (false), that two sets of 3157s - four bulbs total - were required for the brake lights (false) and that 7440 bulbs were the correct rear turn signal bulb (false for the US version).

Still ignorant, I ordered some bulbs from them. Their shipment was delayed and when it arrived, half my bulbs were missing. They sent the missing bulbs, but forgot the canbus that I ordered. I know others are happy with them, but I am done with them.

Back on topic, I ordered from VLED according to the instructions in this tread. They sent everything quickly and correctly. I haven't installed yet (weather) but will use this thread when I do. My gratitude to JTS for the excellent review and guide.

Great choice. I have had them installed for months (also followed the instructions from this thread) and they are amazing. The lights are bright and makes it look like what the WK2 should have had already installed.

Thanks JT! I scoured each page looking for it. Some other sites even said "7440" as the turn signal. I was trying to make sense of it all. Combined brake/turn. I'm new to Jeep. I've spent a decade on other car forums. I definitely searched before I asked. I miss it. I appreciate your help.

As I don't want to hijack this post, I'm going to start a new thread of LEDs I've recently outfitted my jeep with. Check out my post titled "Deautokey"

What are people doing for 2011 style taillights where the inboard lenses are not LED?

Doesn't make a difference as far as converting to V3 Tritons, they just don't look as cool at night without the LED running light

Any steady burn LEDs that would match the tail lights intensity of the Triton at tail light mode?
