WK2 SRT headlights Vs WK2 Non SRT HID's?

I've been considering swapping out my HID headlights for the SRT Version as it seems like they are tinted or darker?

Anyone done this and have before and after pics?

I've been working on blacking out my Jeep and this seems to be one of the last things I need to do...just curious if its worth doing. I'm not crazy about spray on tint or laminex on the Headlights...

The SRTs lights are painted black inside and are adaptive

Thank you !

When you say adaptive....will they work with my existing setup? or would that require an extra bit of work to set up you think?

Adaptive will not as you dont have the sensors or programming..everything else(self-leveling) will work fine.

Yeah the SRT and Summit headlights are adaptive (AFS), Overland and Limited with Lux II package uses same headlight visually, but they do not adapt.

As Scott already mentioned its just the inner bezel thats black inside of the silver/chrome in the non-SRT models. Pretty bad ass looking headlight!

Re: WK2 SRT headlights Vs WK2 Non SRT HID's?

I've decided to go forward with this swap...I'm going to have them opened up and customized with the Red/Green/blue Led's as well ...so I can have the same setup as LUX man's ...

these are the baddest Headlights i've seen on a jeep to date ..
