Wood Trim Swap info...

I have a 2012 Limited with the wood trim.
I would like to swap these out with either the Laredo or the Overland black trim. I know one is wood and one isn't but I don't really care. I just want the black look.
I've looked at the different mopar parts stores and see that they sell the three different dash pieces, but I don't see the pieces for the door panels for sale.
Anybody know where you can get these?
Anybody done the swap and can advise on how difficult?
Anybody want to swap their black for my wood colored?
Thanks

No.
I'm amazed that nobody else seems interested in this.

Re: Wood Trim Swap info...

Oh I'm interested, I have a Laredo and would love to trade for the lighter Overland wood however I don't trust myself in my abilities in removing the wood myself (possibly damaging my own car) and don't want to pay to have it done. I think that is probably a common issue regarding this IMO.

It is a lot easier to take them out and send them to the paint shop and make them Piano Black. It would look sick.
Dash trims are easy to take off but the doors you need to take the whole panel and make and on the back there is about 8 very small screws on each of those in the doors.

How did you get wood? (That sounds wrong!) My trim is genuine imitation wood, i.e. plastic. Real nice looking plastic, but not wood.

Re: Wood Trim Swap info...

I might soon have all of my 'real' light wood trim available out of my overland if interested. I would sell all door and dash pieces as well as the steering wheel.
