Xenon Depot HID Xtreme

Installed the HID Xtreme kit and works great; however, when I connect the canbus the drivers side light takes roughly 5 sec longer to turn off than the passenger side. Does anyone else have this going on or is something wrong with my kit? I also thought it may follow the canbus so I swapped the adapter from passenger to driver and driver to passenger but the driver side is always the one to stay on longer :-/

Re: Xenon Depot HID Xtreme

I have the Xtreme kit as well. My driver side shuts off first then then the passenger. My delay is nowhere near 5 seconds though more like a split second. Never really looked into it as it didn't really bother me. It would be quite irritating if it was 5 seconds though.

Interested to know what causes this.

Xtreme kit with 5000k bulbs. The color looks like the factory HIDs with just a bit more blue. I did the install myself and for sure on the Grand Cherokee you will need the canbus adapter to prevent flickering (tried it both ways)

With my rear led bulbs and the HIDs I believe it was just under $200.

My only complaints would be the ballast buzz when you unlock the doors (going to try some sort of sound mat or moving their location) and the one light staying on longer.
