Historicity, wagons doesn't do it for americans for the pass 10+ years or so. Ford tried and failed and Dodge tried and failed.

I'm not arguing FOR a wagon. Just a 3 row SRT8 Durango.

At first I liked the looks of the thing, but after a few months, to me it just looked like a hearse. Plus I could no longer tolerate the hard surface of the door and center armrest. My elbows were developing callouses from the hard plastic/rubber type material Chrysler used in that area.

Re: 2013 Durango SRT8

Doesn't the Durango weigh more than the Jeep as well?

I guess this is my next option. Just wonder how much the interior swap is going to cost for R/T to Mopar.

The Durango R/T weighs almost the same as the Jeep SRT8 (5133lbs vs 5150lbs). An SRT version of the Durango would probably come in a little higher than the Jeep.

Re: 2013 Durango SRT8

Didnt they mention that they planned on bringing the magnum back eventually? It would be a nice vehicle to have only in the srt brand

Dodge is Chrysler's sporty brand I would agree it would make more sense than the off road brand having the race SUV... That said I wouldn't have it any other way, I LOVE the SRT8 Grand Cherokee.

Exactly, It may have been a HIT for the 2500 of them that sold then all those interested had one. Im not trying to bash it, I have a spot in my heart for it, my wife loved our Volvo wagon and she was eyeballing SRT8 magnums for a while... That said the were one of the shortest lived SRT vehicles (if not the shortest) hell, even the srt4 NEON made it 3 years!
