Immo and Temerarius, thank you for the info. Koons is certainly within driving distance for me.

jlused, correct me if I wrong here.

Immo, I believe what he is saying is what I had posted about a few pages back. The rain sensitive wipers, blind spot monitoring, and HID lights are all part of the Safety, Security, and Convenience group. My dealer told me that package was not currently available to order on the Limited, although it shows up in the specs Milous posted for the Limited. These are not standalone options so it's the group or nothing but the group is not currently 'orderable' for some reason on the Limited. This is part of my holdup as well.

Great points. I did not take it a step further to the options but you are absolutely correct on that.

Correct fireman. Despite appearing on the PDF, the package is unavailable as confirmed by both my dealer and the Chrysler rep. Dealer doesn't know how I can get the rain-sensitive wipers or blind-spot monitoring onto the Limited and the Chrysler rep isn't replying. I've thus ordered ours without those options, but I would really prefer to have them. It would be great if someone could tell us how to get them.

Thank you Milous. That's what I suspected - bi-xenon is incorrect. It has HID low beams and halogen high beams.

For what it's worth, there also seems to be a mismatch in some references to multimedia. Everything in the feature availability pdf you posted on page 1 shows "AM/FM/CD/HDD/MP3" yet the CD is a standalone option on all models and shows in the option lists you pasted directly into page 1 of this thread. I don't think it would be an option if it's in the stack by default so the feature availability pdf seems to be wrong.

Re: 2014 Durango - Features and Changes

Have dealers received their first allotments for 2014 yet? Seems like if ordering for 8/9 has closed they might, or no?

I'm working with a local dealer on a 2013 Crew, but would strongly consider a 2014 Limited. I'm just not sure I can get the family to wait three more weeks, especially in light of some of the current "deals' on the remaining 2013s.

I wish Dodge would cough up pricing so it was easier to compare apples.

No, according to Milous, production for all the current orders in queue (including mine) won't actually start until 8/19. I'm in on the first production run and there's no estimated delivery date yet.

I suspect then that dealers won't start getting these units until early September (unless some of the pilot build models make it out to retailers). The orders placed 8/9 and later I suspect won't hit dealers until late September / early October.

I don't think there's any restrictions on the Limited models, so you may be able to place your order for that model now (so delivery I would guess would be early to mid September)

If any of the five Dodge dealerships I've contacted were 1/10th as knowledgable and responsive as members of this forum, somebody would have scored a sale of a 2014 Durango Citadel and I would not be sitting in my kitchen entertaining the thought of going for another test drive in an ML350 or an Audi q7. Can't even get a response from some of these folks. Is it my gender? I thought we were past that. And if we aren't, wouldn't that make me an easy mark?

Sorry. Just venting. And contemplating......

Re: 2014 Durango - Features and Changes

Are you by chance interested in a v-6 black Citadel with tan interior and 2nd row captains chairs?

Thanks so much Milous! That's a start.

Can you confirm or deny there is a hold on the Limited too?

Also, I see there is no price for the Safety, Security, and Convenience Group (Limited). Any idea/speculation/guess what in the world what is going on with that?
