Here is another pic I found online of the storage bins exposed where the 3rd row goes

Ya, I am no parts expert. I had someone at a store look these up for me... looks like I will need to get into it myself.

The funniest part is based on what you are showing me, there would be no way to get the extra BIN with the AMP yet, that is the way it is shown right in the diagram.

When I get into work I will check our estimating system. It looks like that photo has 2 numbers pointing to the same image one on the right one on the left of the bin. A lot of times if there are 2 numbers pointing to the same item they break it down in the description as lets say 5 being with amp and 6 being without amp. I will get part numbers and prices as well the 13s should fit right into the 14s

Well, it does have all those references but the problem is it shows add and delete codes.... maybe the Jedi Master wants me to pick apart the build system as well and figure it out, of course to find out all the parts changed for 2014.

I think I should stick to radios.

Re: 2014 Durango - Features and Changes

Both your efforts are sincerely appreciated. No doubt we'll figure this out and a swap can be arranged...

I assume the cargo area is black in all vehicles with only the sides matching interior trim color.

We're likely going Frost.

Re: 2014 Durango - Features and Changes

I started a new thread about production so we don't keep taking this one OT.

Thank you for posting that. I had checked yesterday morning and there wasn't an option for 2014. They must have just added that.

That will certainly keep many of us busy. I noticed on page 128 of the owners manual that it has the tilt mirrors in reverse option (if equipped with memory seats). I'm really looking forward to that since I typically back into parking spots and into the garage. Can't wait to see what other nuggets/surprises there are!

Re: 2014 Durango - Features and Changes

Thanks....learned something new:

"
The left or right side of the second row seatback
can be folded flat to carry cargo. When
the lower storage compartment is accessed
using the rear push button it allows the armrest
to flip forward for “fold flat mode”. Fold
flat mode allows the console armrest to be
lowered below fold flat seat plane and protect
the armrest vinyl from damage when

using the vehicle to haul cargo."

Nice...I didn't think I could have a completely "flat" loading floor with the full center console...but apparently you can. Of course, those directions are about as clear as mud, but it looks like there's a button somewhere that allows the armrest piece to flip over or tilt/slid or something both protecting the vinyl, and allowing a level loading floor.

This was the only drawback I perceived with the second row full console. Great news!

I wanted the Full Console, but with 2 kid's car seats the only way to access the 3rd row was with the mini console

You made the absolute right choice. Sadly, we are too old for car seats.....and if we decide to stash some young people In our third row we will have to borrow them
