Re: 2014 Durango - Features and Changes

A dealer in south Orange County shows several in stock, but all V6. I'll just wait for the auto show.

Re: 2014 Durango - Features and Changes

Hi everyone,
I've got a question, and if it's already been addressed, my apologies.
I want to get a Durango with ALL the options, this would lead me to think I need to get a Citadel. While I like some chrome on a vehicle, the Citadel might be a bit much for me. If I were to order another model, such as a limited, and if I throw all the available options on it, would it be equal to the Citadel, options wise.

Thanks very much for the help.

If you look at the end of the first post in this thread there are a couple attachments that show the details of what is available on which trim. Off the top of my head though:

1) You can get an R/T with almost everything. A couple restrictions though: Can't get roof rails, Hemi engine only (no V-6 option), interior colors more limited. The R/T has a sport suspension which will ride differently than the other trims.

2) The limited with "everything" will have some differences... no dual exhaust on the V-6, cannot get adaptive cruise control, cannot get collission warning / crash mitigation, cannot get "premium / perforated" leather seats ("standard" leather is available)

Note that the 2014 Citadel, while heavier on the chrome, does not have chrome finished wheels. (The '13 citadel had chrome clad). The '14 wheels are "fully polished" aluminum, so while they are relatively "bright and shiny", they are not a mirror-like chrome.

If you really want "everything", you should at least take a look at a '14 on a dealer lot and see if the chrome is too off-putting for you.

I think you nailed it on the differences...

Re: 2014 Durango - Features and Changes

I think there is one additional difference between the Limited and the Citadel.
The Citadel has "Heavy duty, four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes." The Limited with the Premium Package will also have 20" wheels, but with 5 spokes. I would like to see how those look compared to the Citadel Wheels.

The 18" tires are Michelin Latitude Tour.
The 20" tires are Goodyear Fortera HL.

Now I find myself rethinking the 18" v 20" decision again...because of those oh so helpful photos.

Those are both 20" wheels. The 5 spoke are optional 20" available on the Limited.

Re: 2014 Durango - Features and Changes

Has anyone seen the 18" Wheel?
Any opinions on which of the 20" wheels looks better?
Citadel Wheels vs. Limited 5-Spoke Upgraded?

Yep. I meant it more seeing the optional 20" on the Limited v the standard 18" wheel on the Limited.
