close-up of one of the wheels would be nice. Based on the Window sticker it should have the optional 5 spoke "fully polished" 20 inchers, not the standard 10 spoke 18" wheels....

Good luck!

Thanks for the head's up! Finally a look at the production citadel wheels...I may be able to live with them. though will have to see how they look with Granite Crystal paint. I'm not a big fan of the Billet Silver paint on the Citadel trim.

Or search for "2014 Dodge Durango Citadel Snow" (Snow is who posted the video).

Agreed. Too monotone looking between the paint and all the chrome.

What kind of knucklehead would order a billet Citadel? Oh, looks like I did...... But I happen to agree with you. Funny thing is, I didn't want the chrome to be too flashy/gaudy so I'll settle for monotone.

heh...I went with granite because I thought black might be too gaudy, but silver not quite gaudy enough. .

Love this. Think the granite has been a very popular selection. I went for low maintenance (read lazy about washing) and one that might not spontaneously combust in the TX heat and sun. I haven't had chrome on a vehicle, perhaps ever, but we wanted certain features and goodies offered on the Citadel. I see washing AND polishing in my future.

Come out from under that rock, Davewg. Variety is the spice of life, and all that. I wouldn't fall on my sword for billet, it was just the lesser of a bunch of evils for me. Part of my fascination with this forum is what trips the triggers, so to speak, of the members. I hope you get your VON ASAP, and please keep the comments coming, as that's what makes all this waiting more interesting and a little less agonizing!

We went with Deep Cherry Red because

- white and black were automatic outs
- my wife didn't really like the Billet
- We weren't sure about Sandstone
- my wife doesn't like grey/tan color mixes so that pretty much eliminated Granite and Steel since we did want a black interior
- my wife thought the blue was, well, to blue...

We do think the red is sharp. The last 2013 we test drove was that color and my wife was disappointed when I said it wasn't available for 2014. Her current vehicle is red/tan, so we're keeping something the same.

I bet it looks very sharp in person.
Especially when clean!
