I can't answer that, but didn't he get extra paint and seat trim?

vertrkr, the main line for the BNSF (BurlingtonNorthern Sante Fe) runs close to my home and there is a web cam on the little train station in La Plata, MO (actually 6) where you can watch the trains. And there are lots of autotransporters on the trains. The webcams update every 6 seconds. And then they are archived one per minute over a day. The trains go through every 15 minutes or so. It's the main line that runs from Chicago to KC and then southwest to SoCal. If you search for LaPlata web cams, it should be the first result.

So Vertrkr, if you live in SoCal and know approximately when your Durango is coming through NE Missouri, and you're really wanting to follow your truck, and you have even more time to waste, here is another opportunity! Your family should be so pleased Just look to the east to watch for the west bound trains!

John

vertrkr,
That's all perfectly normal. What would be crazy is if you actually looked at the railroad crossing schedule, locomotive inspection cycle log, and locomotive fueling schedule. That would be crazy!

If you want any of that, let me know.

Re: 2014 Durango production

Not what I ordered but they took a huge step up in appearance this year....I really dig the rear tail lights now.

Re: 2014 Durango production

Stopped at the local dealer on the way home from work (Sorry all, no camera on hand).

All Limited Hemis.

Mesh in the grill looked very nice. Every other row is angled the same direction. About 30 degrees. It gives the grill some depth and interesting light/shadow contrasting.

The mineral gray pockets on the 18 inch wheels are only those which come off the lug nut holes. Everything else on the wheel is polished.

For those interested in a no maintenance paint color, Sandstone is the choice. Also will be my choice. Looked great in person. It is as light as last years Brilliant Silver except the tint color is tan instead of being blueish. It is much lighter than the 2014 Billet Silver (aka Battleship Gray).

The 20 inch, 5 spoke polished wheels look really nice too. Matches the chrome trim along bottom perfectly.

Anyway, that's my two cents added to the discussion.

This is from a local dealer. 17/24 on a Hemi Citadel.

I found my window sticker online and it said 16/22. Are R/T's rated worse than a Citadel for mileage?

I am here to let everyone know that I have failed them. I went to my dealer to find out that the 14 Durango that they had, they just sold an hour before I got there. I was in the detail bay being cleaned up. Sales rep let me back to see it and I got one photo that someone requested of the wheels and my phone went dead. Anyways here is the only picture I got. But on the bright side I got to sit in it and it is nice!

My window sticker for an AWD Citadel said the same as yours but saw another Hemi Citadel AWD on a dealer website with the 17/24 mileage. Confused.
