Curious to see pictures of he Sandstone. I considered it, but thought Sandstone/Light Frost would too monotone.

Anybody thinking about an extended warranty for their 2014 Durango?

Yup, I'll be getting the 7/60. Here's a list I compiled for the best places that sell them:

chrysler-warranty-online.com
chryslerwarrantys.com
chryslerfactoryplans.com
chryslerwarrantydirect.com
chryslerfactorywarranty.net

We are.

Had one on my Yukon which saved us a few times on some repairs that I think wound up paying for the extended warranty cost.

Wished we had one on the Honda, but figured we wouldn't need it - its a Honda. We were proved wrong.

I think for us it depends if we lease or finance the balance of the cost after our trade/additional deposit.

Thanks to you for the reply and all the links. Thanks also, Dave. Wouldn't have considered in the past, but thinking it might make sense this time around. We tend to keep our vehicles awhile, and 36,000 miles will add up quickly with some necessary long distance trips.

If you have long distance trips planned, I think its worth having. I like the idea of a factory extended too. I think you'll have fewer problems getting a repair done, if necessary, on the road with that.

We were on vacation in Maine several years ago and the airbag light tripped. Turned out the sensor had failed. The local dealer up there fixed it, and no issues with using the warranty since ours was a GM extended. I wonder if we would have had an easy of a time with a non-GM warranty.

Yes, I will be.

My buying cycle is typically 'Buy it new and run it to the ground.' I plan on keeping the D for 200,000 miles / 12 years or so. I may go for the unlimited warranty. Wish my Pontiac Montana had it!

Still nice to see actual pictures instead of the "mocked up" looking ones on the Dodge site.

Re: 2014 Durango production

I stopped in a local dealer during lunch today and snapped a couple pics of a Black Citadel. (will post a bit later). Also got to take it on a short test-drive. Very nice! Though it was a Hemi and I have a V-6 on order. Hope to get to test drive a V-6 this weekend...
