Agreed on both counts.

One thing I noticed recently...some of the WaWa gas stations by that sell diesel are self serve. Interesting because I'm considering diesel for my next vehicle; I'll be much happier pumping my own.

Immo and vertrkr (and hayakawasaki), I'm hoping for the best for you. This continues to be so frustrating. VOTS appears to be down again. MOTS is suggesting your Durangos have done nothing but sit on a lot in the rail yard for days... and this is your estimated delivery day. At this point, I'm pretty sure there is no way they will make my estimated delivery with MOTS showing a delivery of 9/25 and no build yet. Everything seems to be at a standstill.
I know it is an *estimated* date but it's still very frustrating.

I just noticed this too. Of course when it was down last week I went from nothing to D1 in 24 hours....maybe so many new builds are starting they can't update VOTS fast enough...

Wishing will make it so.

I am SO frustrated for you guys, and a bit surprised mine made it to TX AND to the dealership by last Friday. I'm targeting this coming Friday to pick it up, and I was hoping to be armed with any observations or concerns that Immo might pass along (well, that sounds selfish, doesn't it?). I'm continuing to get little done, as all my fingers are crossed for y'all.

DARN it. I sent an email to my dealer first thing this morning asking them NOT to put a front plate holder on mine either. Alas, I got no reply, but about an hour later I got some pics my sales person sent. I was too late. Really hope they did NOT drill through the front bumper.

Bummer, I also hate drilled holes. My dealer never answers the phone and I've emailed them twice requesting this with no response. Wel'll see what happens.

I'm not sure I'll have a choice but to have my front plate mounted on the bumper. I think the radar for the adaptive cruise is in the center of the lower fascia (below the bumper), so having the plate mounted there is not gonna work...

I'm just used to having the front plate mess up all my vehicles at this point...

Re: 2014 Durango production

Mine left the distribution center 30 minutes ago, should be at the dealer by now. Guessing they'll only call me after it's all done with PDI. Getting super duper close now. Rooting for ya Immo, not right I get mine before you.

UPDATE:
I'll be damned, they called soon as I posted. Going in at 2pm to get it and the sales guy said they would not mount the front plate. Woo hooo, hump daaaaay! ok it's monday.
