I think referring to the videos posted in the Features thread, specifically this one at the 8:50 mark. Basically the Durango uses the architecture the first gen GL was built on.

Hey IMMO,

I was there when you picked up your car at Koons. I Picked up my Black R/T today. It's a Beast! I love the looks this thing has been getting today.

Only issue is Both headlights seem to have moisture inside, not even upset, just have to get it fixed. Unless this is normal?

There was a thread in the WK2 forum about headlamp moisture. I don't recall what the final verdict was, but might be worth a search/read.

That's great looking from all sides. Especially appreciate the night time shots of the LED running lamps and tail lamps. I think those are the best real world shots I've seen.

They are, without a doubt, bright and quite distinctive as promised.

They are simply beautiful. When I first saw this design on the Charger I hated it. I was behind one and I didn't like they way you could see all the individual bulbs, I thought it looked cheap. The way they diffuse the light on these, not having the bulbs face out, really just gives it a high end really slick look. I have already had a lot of people stop and I've had it hours.

The other nice surprise was the wheels, these are the "upgraded" 20" wheels. I really liked the dark coat on the normal 20's with the R/T but this had everything I wanted minus the correct wheels so I took it with the idea I can always change the wheels. I had seen pictures and video of these and was not impressed even though they are the same design, different finish. When I saw them in person though, it was a completely different story, they are fantastic. My buddy who saw the car last night and who had agreed with me on the wheels felt the same way, they are really great in person.

Normal for all headlights for a haze to occur, they are not sealed systems. If it doesn't burn off after the lights have been on for a bit or by the next day if the dew point changes or there is excessive moisture with droplets or puddles then there could be a problem.

Yeah I sent them to my sales person and asked it it was normal. He said to bring it in, but I wanted to take a wait and see approach as the car will be covered for quite some time and i don't have time to wait for people to fiddle and not know what to do...

Thanks for sending them to the service director!

Re: 2014 Durango production

Guys, condensation in the headlights is perfectly normal. I had it (along with half of 2014 JGC buyers here) for a little while after I picked up my JGC Overland, and it went away pretty quickly. For some reason it happens in HID headlights when they are new (Scott can tell you why, I don't know).

Garage
They are vented headlamps (good) they will fog a little when new....but will acclimate to your weather pretty quick.
