3) If you ordered the DVD (which I believe you did?) see number 1. The estimate is likely wrong, and was based on the assumption that the DVD parts were available at the time you were scheduled.

Basically at this point, anyone with DVD will be at least two weeks until delivery, and every day that goes by without production is another day added to delivery. At this point I am hoping for a Halloween delivery.

Lastly...you mentioned "Graphite" color?! That's either a new color that no one is aware of, or perhaps you mean "Granite?" It's a dark gray metallic which, (sorry Davewg,) is in fact the fastest color!
LOL yes joey I did order the tv's you can see on mots im the only one with the graphite color I seen the granite and thought they misprinted lol and yes either way granite or graphite they are definitely the faster D's

Well, as Wesley Snipes once said in Passenger 57, "always bet on black!"

Only if they're HEMIs and the red one is a V6, that I'll granite you....

(yes that was a poor attempt at color humor).

I corrected this for you.

I just spent the last 10 minutes checking into this graphite color... was thinking it was some kind of new R/T exclusive thing. Love my granite crystal D... and I'm sure you will love yours too! Maybe it's my detail job but so far, granite doesn't even show water spots.

What I did notice when checking for this graphite color... is that the latest feature availability sheet still shows...
High-intensity Discharge (HID) bi-xenon headlamps. Includes automatic
headlamp leveling system and halogen high beams

... as available in a package on the Limited and standard on the Citadel and R/T. I'm not sure why but I'm quite certain they really are bi-xenon and there is no halogen high beam on these particular models.

Also, I'm slightly embarrassed to say this but I drove 2/3 of the way home from the grocery store a few days ago with just the front LED's and fog lights on. I went to turn on my high beams and nothing happened. I went to try turning off and on the headlight switch and realized I was set to parking lights only. Finally getting the high beams on, I had great visibility for nearly 1/2 mile. I'm in deer infested country so having that extra light is very helpful.

Re: 2014 Durango production

Haven't been on the board in a while as I'm pretty busy these days and haven't placed an order yet. Still watching local dealers inventories and trying to decide if I want to wait for the DVD or not.

I just found this Durango in Houston with the DVD package. I might try to go by next week if I have some time. It must be one of the preproduction models. Anyone know if you can tell by the VIN number?

It probably is a pilot (or early build). The VIN is EC267112. I think most of us were EC3xxxxx.

Best way to tell - look at the MDH (month day hour (which is 24 hour clock)) on the manufacturing plate on the drivers door jamb. That plate will also have the month/year of manufacture.

I think production officially started on 8/19, so the MDH would be 819xx)

Good luck.

The Stealthiest and Fastest car is my Black R/T... have some work to do under the hood though before I can etch this statement in it in Granite...

Perhaps a super charger...
