Also, an FYI for those ordering soon. The Jefferson North Plant's paint shop is going to be taken apart over the Christmas downtime (starting the 20th) and reconstructed with a new system. Per my Dad, there are usually issues with the first vehicles that go through after the rebuild and the new system calibration so I would hold off on ordering.
Am I understanding you correctly? You ordered yours around 12/5 -- and on 12/11 it was already painted?

I ordered my Citadel on 11/21 and on 12/11 there hasn't been even a blip of production reported.

Any others here getting news of their Factory Orders happening within 6 or 7 days of placing the order?

Ordered it December 2nd actually. VOTS still says production scheduled, but as we know, VOTS isn't accurate. Also, my contact in that plant may have been able to move mine up the schedule a bit. It pays to know people I guess.

Well if that is the case, have your contact bump mine up in the schedule as well Looks like mine might fall in or around the time of the paint booth upgrade, will just have to keep my fingers crossed. I ordered 11/27 and have an estimated delivery date of 01/12/14. Congrats if you are in paint

Final inspection now. Definitely looking like delivery is soon. Plant shuts down today and reopens 2nd so if it's not on a truck right now, it's going to be delivered in 2 weeks most likely.

Re: 2014 Durango production

My Citadel was ordered on 11/18.
Delivery is any day, now.
So that's about 6 weeks by the time I actually take possession -- unless it happens tomorrow (then it's about 5).

I'd add one week for their annual shut-down. Just as a rough guess.

Certain models, like the R/T or SXT (more common purchases), might get through the system faster. Or perhaps more common colors than mine ("Sandstone" -- which, ironically enough, got labeled "Cashmere Pearl" on the build ticket).

I want to add that the factory update website was an absolute joke and never informed me of a damn thing. All it ever said was "Scheduled for Production". Even after it supposedly "Shipped".

Cashmere pearl is the Jeep name for the color. Since it's largely a Jeep plant that doesn't surprise me.

Re: 2014 Durango production

I figured as much. The accessory side moldings I pre-ordered were listed under that same color name.
