JLUND:
Anyone have pics of the durango with the red nappa leather that is at the detroit auto show? Ralph gilles put one on instagram but no other pics are to be found anywhere...thanks

JLUND, There are several photos of the red leather in the 2015 Durango brochure:

https://www.dodge.com/assets/pdf/bro...015durango.pdf

It looks good, but unfortunately it's difficult to know how accurate the color rendition is compared to the real thing. I plan to order an R/T in the Redline Pearl, and while the black interior is a great color match for the red exterior, black is not the easiest color to keep clean, especially with kids. I would love to see the the actual red nappa color match to see if it would go well with the Redline Pearl, but without seeing them together in person, I would be very hesitant to order the combination. However, it should work well with black and charcoal and perhaps with white, I would think.

Maybe Milous could chime in with his personal thoughts and opinions?

The red leather is now available for ordering on the R/T. $1,195 MSRP - same price as Black interior.

Beats Audio

I do not see the Beats Audio option listed in the March 10th ordering guide... I still show production start of April 6th so it's still *possible* ordering could open sometime this month.

Thanks, Milous,
Please let us know when the production of the Beats system actually begins. I plan to order an R/T as soon as I know for certain that the system is in production.

Re: 2015 Durango - Features and Changes

Milous, I just wanted to check and see if April 6th is still the scheduled production date for Beats Audio. I'm guessing there's been no update, but you never know.

Re: 2015 Durango - Features and Changes

Seems like there is no answer on what's up with Beats. Any dealer I talk to says it's not in the system and then the stock line of "we don't know what's coming out till its out"

I planned on ordering Monday but I may hold back since there seems to be no confirmation on beats. Not that I'm obsessed with Beats but they advertised it at NY auto show so maybe they should get their act together. It's not like they are fitting a new transmission for Gods sake.

Re: 2015 Durango - Features and Changes

New guy here (another interloper from DodgeDurango.net) and I'm really aching to find the answer to this question. I'd like to order in the next couple of days and hopefully benefit from a last-minute sales streak push, but I'm not about to buy right before a new audio upgrade goes into effect.

Being new to these parts, I don't know Milous, but I sure wish he'd respond with the latest info. Perhaps a PM is in order?

Re: 2015 Durango - Features and Changes

Redhot,
I think you and I are the only people that care about the Beats option. Seems Durangos have REALLY slow forum discussion. I've never frequented a forum for a product with as little support or activity as just about anything Durango. Anyway, enough complaining, I also was reading someplace about new wheels supposed to be on 2015 R/T's.

Anyone know anything about when these wheels start being included on the R\T?

Re: 2015 Durango - Features and Changes

Hey, I care! I mean I am the guy who's been pushing it (and not to take credit from RedHotFuzz who I know wants the Beats too).

On the wheels, I think they're in production now. I don't know, of course, but they are specifically mentioned in the press release and they are also the only notable change on the Dodge/Durango builder website (I noticed them yesterday).

They seem really slow to update the website, but they changed those. And here, I'm talking about the colorized image of the Durango as you build it. The wheels in the options section show the "old" wheels (and just like they don't show the Red Nappa or the Black Forest Green, both of which you can order now).

Re: 2015 Durango - Features and Changes

Nor have they updated the prices. The R/T is $200 more as is the Nappa Leather Package (black or red). If you look at the sticker for newer Durangos (you can tell by the VIN, say FC800+), you can see the price change.
