2017 Durango rear turn signals

Anyone knows which bulbs are installed in the 2017 Durango rear turn signals?
The owner manual says "LED only serviced by dealer". I would love to change those red turn signals to yellow....

Re: 2017 Durango rear turn signals

So would a lot of us. The problem is that the rear turn signals are also the brake lamps, and having those also be yellow wouldn't look right and doesn't meet legal requirements...

Re: 2017 Durango rear turn signals

Is it one bulb for both break and turn signal on the 2017?

Re: 2017 Durango rear turn signals

Good question. I'm not sure; regardless, you'd then get a mix of yellow and red when braking.

Re: 2017 Durango rear turn signals

But this is how it is supposed to be, blinking yellow for turn signal and steady red for breaking. Far more visible and easy to know you are both breaking and turning.....

Re: 2017 Durango rear turn signals

Well, not really. That's how some of would like it to be - amber turns and red tails/brake lights. But there is no requirement in the FMVSS regulations to have separate colors.

Unfortunately, most vehicles today share brake/turn elements...I don't like it either.
