Anyone had factory nav or remote start installed

Have any of y'all had the nav activated on the 8.4 yet or factory remote start added as an accessory yet? If so do you like it? And how was the install

Yes, I had the dealer add factory remote start when I bought it. It only took them a couple hours and you would never know they did anything. Definitely a worthwhile addition. I'm interested in having Nav added to be 8.4 also...

Re: Anyone had factory nav or remote start installed

I'm going next week to have nav added to my 8.4a. Spoke to the parts manager and was told that the upgrade comes through the parts dept. In fact she is the one who does it. Said she calls the company and gets a code number that is issued by vin. Code is entered into radio and the upgrade is done by satellite signal. Takes all of 20 minutes if not too cloudy out. The only feature you don't get with the upgrade are HD Radio and Traffic Link. Said everything else is same as factory installed. Said if radio ever needs replacing, it would be replaced with a factory 8.4an.
