Auto Park Brake & Hold 地 Go

Auto Park Brake & Hold ’n Go. After reading the manual those are two features I didn't know we had. Not sure which models/packages get them or if they really are available (i.e. the manual lists Lane Departure Warning but I know we don't get that) but if so they seem pretty handy.

Auto Park Brake:
When this feature is selected, the vehicle will automatically set the Park Brake when the vehicle is shifted to park. To make your selection, touch the Auto Park Brake soft-key, until a check-mark appears next to setting, indicating that the setting had been selected. Touch the back arrow soft-key to return to the previous menu.

Hold ’n Go:
When this feature is selected, the vehicle will automatically hold its position when it comes to a stop. To make your selection, touch the Hold ’n Go soft-key until a check-mark appears next to setting, indicating that the setting had been selected. Touch the back arrow soft-key to return to the previous menu.

Re: Auto Park Brake & Hold 地 Go

I'm very skeptical. Everything I've seen so far is the parking brake is a standard foot pedal mechanical linkage. Perhaps they are like Mercedes for this and apply the pads to the rotors slightly for a parking brake but late Mercedes do not have a physical parking brake pedal, it's all electric by a push button. Not sure if the durango manual is wrong or what.

Re: Auto Park Brake & Hold 地 Go

Looks like we don't have these features, not anywhere to be found in the settings. Guess either it's a future planned feature or got canned.
