That would be a nice surprise!

Best I can tell that's the case after crawling around underneath. Here's some pics I took:

I've been wondering why (and glad that) I detect a throaty rumble (even if slightly muted) when standing behind my V6 Citadel & the engine's on. Maybe this is why. If I didn't know better, I'd think it was a V8.

I pm'd Milous last October or November about whether the Citadel V6 was 290 or 295 and he said it was 290. But if the brochure and website now say 295, it's got me wondering too.

The additional 5hp bonus given to offset all that chrome weight. ;-) And I was worried initially about the excessive chrome including the (aluminum) wheels, but in person I definitely prefer the Citadel look now. It makes a statement but still tasteful in much the same way as the taillights do. Dodge designers really pulled off an exceptional entire package.

I agree, much the same way a Denali looks much classier than a Tahoe.

Felt the same way. I was all ready to black out all the chrome and change the wheels until I saw it in person. Best looking car I've ever owned, wouldn't change a thing which is a total departure for me. I've always done some big mod to change the exterior as I don't like being like everyone else but I like it so much I just can't bring myself to change anything. Just as well I suppose as I still have not seen one other 2014 on the road yet.

Re: citadel vs limited

The Limited has a lot of nice features. Nicer than other cars I've owned, actually. Plus I got the tow package, lift & nav and 2nd row captains chairs.
I kind of wish I had spent the extra $$ for the Citadel and just added the options I 'need'. The prices are not that much different and my wife wouldn't have minded the sunroof and I wouldn't have minded the ventilated seats.
I think the lift & nav are standard on the Citadel.
but - I am probably just suffering from too much commercialism the Limited is a really nice car.

I think you did it right with your Limited option picks which keeps a nice $4K spread. Otherwise once you add the sunroof, HID's, stereo upgrade, 20" wheels I believe you're better off just getting the Citadel as it becomes a better buy.
