We have 13.37.

I'm hopeful that eventually the Jeep/Ram versions and the Durango stuff folds into one release.

No updates at all for us...yet. I think the Jeep/Ram community is larger, so the squeaky wheel gets the fixes faster. I could be off base. I'm sure Willx can provide insight there.

We've only used the USB for my wife's iPhone. Didn't note any issues yesterday.

Fantastic first impression and having seen this vehicle personally, it is gorgeous! Although I was the one to recommend Century Dodge, I can't say I was worried that your experience would be any different than mine. There was no doubt in my mind they would exceed your expectations as they have mine. I too have never had a more pleasant car buying experience.

I'm highly encouraged by your fuel economy on the trip home.

As to the 'pokey' acceleration off the line, I think you'll find the acceleration out of Eco mode to be quite sufficient, particularly for a heavy V6. Eco mode works very effectively and I use it most of the time. It's just doing it's job.

She'll get used to the rotary shifter pretty quickly. After 2 weeks in mine, I hardly ever change the volume instead now!

I think it's great that she can set the seat for easy entry and exit and can then get in and get moved to her memorized position. I'm not sure if it lowers or just extends back though. Both would be great for her!

I know it was a long road for you, involving some tough decisions but I'm thrilled that she is happy with it. I'm guessing your kids like it over the minivan?

Congrats on your Durango. It looks great! If you figure out the secret to holding the settings in Uconnect, please post it.

Re: Deep Cherry Red Limited - Initial Impressions

Nice pair of Limited's for Fireman and davewq. Can't tell which is faster from this picture. The cherry red may have a slight edge... although only because mine spent an extra day or two (according to VOTS) in paint and is clearly heavier!

Joey, if you have a list of items to go over at delivery PLEASE share it on the forum. Otherwise I might have to Skype Dave or Vertkr, Fireman, Laurel when I pick my Durango; their insight and impressions have been extremely helpful.

Check out this thread that vrttrkr started...he was very thorough and documented what he found

Items missed by quality control

I'll see if I can put a list together and start a new thread.

Re: Deep Cherry Red Limited - Initial Impressions

So my wife has four things she think need improvement on the Durango.

1. The lane change feature needs 5 blinks, not three (someone else asked if there was a way to change this...)

2. For her hands, the turn signal stalk is a little too far from the steering wheel

3. She noticed today, when using the cargo net it blocks the power tailgate button.

4. Reflection of HVAC vent trim in outside mirrors.

Other than that...

which makes me

Now I have about two years to think over my next vehicle.....erg

1. I concur. Too many distracted dopes won't bother to notice three, and the idea of five might keep me safer.
2. I agree. I have rather long fingers and it is still a bit of a reach.
3. I'm going to test this out. My cargo net is currently swinging in the breeze because the cargo liner covers the bottom hook loops.
4. ABSOLUTELY agree. Read about this before purchasing the vehicle, but didn't quite understand. Now I do, and it is kind of annoying, especially on a sunny day when the blind spot assist triangle is also a little more difficult to spot.

Still mighty fond of it though........

No, I don't think so. At the point I retire my Denali we should no longer need an SUV bigger than the Durango for either towing, or stuff carting.

I'm looking at a small(er) car or CUV (there's that dreaded acronym). I'd really like AWD, but might not be possible for the $ I'm willing to spend.

Current short list (and a lot can change in two years...)
- Mazda 3 or CX-5
- VW GTI or GTD
- Subaru Impreza (if they improve on the current generations "blah" factor. WRX won't fly since my wife doesn''t drive stick)
- something domestic not on the market yet...maybe with UConnect...

Won't consider Honda, Toyota or Nissan. Just not my cup of tea.
