Hemi Oil Catch Can

If you have a Hemi you really need one of these.

http://www.custombilletstore.com/product_p/20111.htm

There are plenty of videos out there on YouTube about catch cans. Just google and see why.

Re: Hemi Oil Catch Can

Immo, Did you install one on yours? I have a Citadel on order with Hemi and have been researching pros vs cons. I have not seen any cons to this install as of yet. I'm going to ask to speak to who they say is there best mechanic at dealer and get there opinion. I know it should not affect warranty, but I want to make sure they will never give me a hard time with it on. I have read Mopar will have one soon with a part number P5156020.

Re: Hemi Oil Catch Can

I agree. A catch can is a must have mod on these new hemi motors. I just installed 1 on our WK2 yesterday.

I have one on order.

I doubt the Mopar one will be out any time soon. I've been waiting for one for a few years.

I had one on my 06 Charger SRT and my 10 Jeep SRT.

Re: Hemi Oil Catch Can

Immo, Thanks for the info, seems thats what I have been reading. Looks like Billet Technologies is going to make it for Mopar if I'm reading that correctly.

Tomk, The mounting looks nice on that. Are you able to unscrew it to drain in that position?

The Jeep/Durango kit that Billet Tech makes fits perfect using that fuse panel mount like Tom has pictured. It is very easy to get to when you need to unscrew the bottom cap.

Re: Hemi Oil Catch Can

Hey guys not to threadjack but I have a brand new one in black from Billet Technologies. I was going to install on my wife's 12 Durango R/T but I think we are trading it back in so there is no point in putting it in. I am going to put it up for sale but just thought I would mention it here because of the topic.

Thanks. I'd like to do the exact same thing and order one before my Durango arrives.

So did you call them directly to order the '14 version? I ask because I perused the website and only saw the option for the '11- '13 Durangos.
