Re: ****HOW TO**** ADD 2012 Jeep SRT8 Brembos to your 2011+ Durango

those huge calipers are so nice and purdy I'll almost be reluctant to install mine on the truck when the time comes

If you think the calipers are big, wait till you get your hands on those rotors...they are huge...and HEAVY!!

Re: ****HOW TO**** ADD 2012 Jeep SRT8 Brembos to your 2011+ Durango

there is a set of front / rear calipers, with pins, anti rattle, brembo oem pads for $1100 shipped on ebay, they are new take offs with some cosmetic defects on the calipers.

pretty good price if you can swallow the bits of cosmetic damage on the calipers.

Re: ****HOW TO**** ADD 2012 Jeep SRT8 Brembos to your 2011+ Durango

only took 2 weeks from order to get my brembo sport slotted rotors. not bad for a supposedly backorder, not bad for something that costed me less then ~700 for all 4 corners shipped

Yeah but throw in the cost to have refinished and you can get new parts with 0 damage.

Re: ****HOW TO**** ADD 2012 Jeep SRT8 Brembos to your 2011+ Durango

What I had my SRT8 I ended up switching to R1 pads/rotors because I loathed the way the Brembos created so much damn wheel dust and tended to squeak. I'm sure I may have lost "some" performance, but I could never tell. I'm just throwing that out for a 411 in case anyone is about time to swap out pads.

What's is the minimum back spacing required to run the Brembo upgrade? I'm looking at 20x9 SRT REP rims, is that going to be enough space? Thanks

Re: ****HOW TO**** ADD 2012 Jeep SRT8 Brembos to your 2011+ Durango

I'm using 20x9 viper reps with more offset than stock. I know it will be close but is there anyone with the clearance measurements they could pass along?
