i think they look pretty nice, but not sure if it will prevent most dings from other cars. Just mostly you opening the door into other things. The back doors which are inhabited by young kids more often than not, have a curve over the rear wheel in most cars. That's the part that usually makes contact with other cars. Kids throw the rear for open, and there is really no preventing it. The curved rear dies put the touching point high up and because it is usually a fine point it dings really nicely and deep. Try it out with your doors, see where they would hit.

Good point, there's no hope unless you can always park between two mini vans with sliding doors.

Re: Installed Body Side Molding

I loved this idea when I saw it. And I pre-ordered these before my Citadel arrived.

Guess what? They no fit the Citadel. Because the "CITADEL" badging is in the way on the front doors.

Bummer!

Anybody need these for a non-Citadel "Sandstone" vehicle??

Ya, the badging comes off really easy using fishing line or dental floss.

Re: Installed Body Side Molding

Ahhh. Me no think of that. I will reconsider since I already paid for these and would like to put them on. I can reposition the CITADEL badging when I add the HEMI badges that I ordered last night. Thanks!

I love this Sandstone color!

And to think it was my absolute last choice when I looked at the brochure.

You'd have to order new Citadel badging if you want it back on again. Removing them pretty much messes up the adhesive backing, which you could apply again but since the letters are not connected it would be extremely difficult to get the spacing/alignment prefect again.

Love the Sandstone too. Even better, I have a thick layer of dirt/dust on it and you can't even hardly notice.
