They didn't have it stock, picked it up a few days later, still had to pay for it ($14) but they did give me two Dodge hats when I bought the car. So, you know, I got that going for me.

Part of every deal I make with my local dealer. As long as I own the vehicle and it has his logo on it, I get new hats every year. I figure he's paying a bit for his advertising. It's become a joke between the dealer and I.

Re: Items missed by quality control

Here's the latest I've found. Not sure what this piece would be called, but it is black plastic trim between window and ceiling near the third row. One side is pretty flush, but on the driver's side one plastic piece flares out a bit. One more thing I'll probably forget about, but it is notably inconsistent from side to side.

Looks great. Nice work. I assume the contact cement is the crafty type?

Same question as Laurel on the touch up paint. Did you get from the dealer? I have to remember to ask for some too.

I wonder if you might be able to ease that under the headliner with a plastic butter knife, or small plastic putty tool.

I just used the can I got from the hardware store and a small paint brush to apply it.

Ya, touch up paint from the dealer.

Dealer should be able to fix that under warranty. I'd try pushing on it to see if a clip or fastener wasn't seated fully.

Perhaps. I'll climb back there and take a closer look, but if anybody is going to screw it up further, I'd prefer it be the dealer....
