I give it an A- grade right off the bat. It drives and feels more like a luxury car than I thought. Got a few minor gripes but overall very nice. Ok, here's my story.
Vertkr: What's your view on the V6 power so far? How is it?

I haven't really pushed it yet but from what I have done it feels like alot more low end torque than my Honda 3.5L although that has a 5 speed tranny. So far it seems like it will have plenty power. I really find out when I tow my 5000lb boat but I'm not going to do that until I get a few thousand miles on it. Certainly the hemi would be better for that but I usually don't tow far. Hell, my Ridgeline once towed my boat to Shasta which is 200 miles away, in 100 degree weather, up 3000 ft with a headwind and didn't have any trouble.

Thanks for that info . . . good to hear. I'm interested in the Rallye (for which the V6 is mandatory) and am relieved to hear so far that the V6 can do the job.

Indeed I did. Used to do a lot of camping trips with his son Corby in boy scouts.

I love the EVIC system, really enjoy having many choices to customize it. Currently I like have the digital speedo and the oil temp screen. I find myself scrolling thru the sub screen watching the oil/tranny temps & pressure. The ventilated seats are something I've always wanted and boy can you feel it when it's on high.

I think Chrysler has a home run on their hands here. I'm impressed enough I'll buy a Town & Country soon as they put in the 8.4 uConnect, 7" EVIC system and ZF tranny to replace our Odyssey.

just fixed the 1st post...you can now edit it!

Hey Vertrkr, you might have already mentioned and, if so, my apologies for the repeat......what do you think of the quality of the leather used on your seats and doors, and did you notice any inconsistencies in construction/stitching between your seats?

Construction and consistency of seats/leather appear to be fine. Nothing has caught my eye yet in that regard. As for the quality of the leather I don't have much to judge that against. I personally like it, feels nice to me but I've never felt high-end leather, only Honda leather and Mercedes fake leather (mb-tex). Citadel leather has a softer touch than those other two.

How are you liking the tan color?

Any chance you can post a picture[s] of your interior? I ordered the Tan/Black and would love to see what it looks like with 2014 (I've only seen fleeting glances on 2013s). It would be much appreciated.

Cheers!

Re: My 2014 Citadel 3.6L AWD Sandstone/Tan review

Glad to read that another Ridgeline owner is now driving a Durango! I thought I would be the only one... well... as soon as I order mine.

Going with the Citadel and Sandstone and the Light Frost Beige interior. Dealers in Maryland will give you ANY interior color you want -- so long as it's BLACK.

Until I saw all the colors in person at one dealer today, I would NEVER have chosen Sandstone from the brochure or color chips. The Citadel chrome bits and wheels look so nice that the words "sophisticated" and "refined" come to mind. Like a vehicle you would see driving up to a winery for a big gala in one of those commercials.

Sales Rep today said Ron Burgundy has increased Durango sales by 50% since they first started airing.
