Re: New Stiched Dash for Durango

The Explorer has optional second row captain seats and new for 2017 the Acura MDX Advance does as well. It's weird but I kind of like it.

I am not saying it is not a nice feature, it is. The only problem is that a three row SUV should be able to seat 7 or more passengers. With the captains chairs the Durango only sits 6 (the rear seat is not a bench, it is two seats. Kinda dumb to have a 3 row SUV that seats just one more passenger than the GC.

Re: New Stiched Dash for Durango

Milous, Thank you very much. That's the picture I've been waiting for of the R/T dash. Do you think the Feb. 9th date still holds for ordering to get the new dash? And it looks like, from your post that it will in fact be an additional option.

I don't believe so. I will double-check.

Not having the 7 seats kind of kills the reason to buy a Durango SRT for me. The Jeep is a little better looking and with one seat difference just as practical.......

Milous--

Thanks for this. We ordered an AP Citadel (Cusomer Preferred Package 23P) on 1/28. Based on your info, it doesn't look like the new dash will be available yet when our build happens. The several AP Citadel pictures I've seen on dealer lots appear to have the old dash. Any chance it might wind up in our build?

6 seats only. No 7-passenger option.

You would have had to have ordered the Anodized Platinum package to have the new dash.
