Re: R/T A Bit Floaty?
Thanks for the input, guys. I hear you about it being a 3-row, 5,000 pound SUV, but still, a guy can hope. Here's my dilemma: I need something I enjoy driving and that my wife can use to occasionally pull a horse trailer to organized trail rides, poker runs, etc.
The Durango checks nearly all the boxes: looks great, sounds great, quiet inside, plenty of room for our purposes, flat cargo area (fussy dog), and good power, but I would like a bit firmer handling, and having driven a friend's X5 a fair bit on road trips, I know it can be done.
I'll have to check with Bilstein, Koni, and Rancho to see if anybody makes firmer dampers.
