Removed subwoofer to install larger cargo bin

I decided I'd rather have more cargo room than the subwoofer so I ordered the larger bin (5LC34XXXAC) and it's rubber mat (68184087AA). There's one connection attached to the bin which is to an antenna receiver/fob sensor for the tailgate. The bin I bought I figure was made some time ago so it might have an older antenna. I switched antennas to keep the one that came with my car. The stereo still sounds fine to me, I don't notice any difference but I'm not an audiofile. I doubt anyone wants to do this besides me and davewg but just in case here's some step by step pics with notes.

Re: Removed subwoofer to install larger cargo bin

Nice job! (Both the job itself and the detailed write-ups.). I may consider doing this myself.

Re: Removed subwoofer to install larger cargo bin

Yep, I'll be doing mine as soon as my selling dealer manages to get the correct part. The parts distribution network as sent the wrong bin twice :-(.

Anyone want to by the sub-woofer, let me know.
