Re: Road Magnet springs installed

thanks guys...
the ride is mostly unchanged, which for some may be desireable...
Me, I hoped for a bit stiffer, especially up front...
she rubs pretty bad on dips in the road at 50+mph give or take some mph..

also the passenger rear doesnt seem to sit as low as the drivers rear
wondering if it needs settle in time?
or an alignment maybe?

otherwise pretty happy, can live with occasional rub in front
really hoping to lose that but of extra gap on the passenger rear

DOH!!!

shouldnt it have affected the OE drop too?

maybe it did and i didnt notice as much
or these are not as strong/stiff in rear?

so maybe i need to chop off a rung on the right rear

Re: Road Magnet springs installed

so the rears seem to have settled in or I just wasnt parking on level roads (very common over here) but prob both..

i have parked a few new places now and noticed the gap is close to equal in rear
and once it was even lower on the pass. rear side

so thats looking like a non-issue

may go with 275's in front one day to see if it eliminates the occasional rub
and keep the 285's in rear...

def loving the new "non lifted" look...!!

Re: Road Magnet springs installed

yes sir - 285/40/22

road magnet and black ops have them available for purchase

if you dont have the wheels yet and plan to lower on 22's, may want to try 275's or lower to possibly avoid front rub issues on dips and bumps
